Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the deli department, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
- Manage and train a team of deli staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Develop and implement new menu items and promotions to drive sales
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or issues promptly
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Experience:
- Previous experience in a deli or food service management role is preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of food production and preparation techniques
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
