Our location in Humble, TX has an opening for a Continuous Improvement Manager.
This position is responsible for strategy and tool development across the site, as well as coaching and execution of countermeasures and driving action plans to completion. Development and owner of the plant loss KPI tracking and reporting standards. Accountable to develop and manage the overall CI Program standards for the plant ensuring effectiveness of change management, adoption of systems and culture. Your Day to Day

Development and implementation of problem-solving tools to drive out all losses within the plant, including Safety, Quality, Maintenance and Operations.

Manages the site productivity Process and overall identified projects to deliver productivity goals over next 5 years.

Institutionalize Standardized Work, Problem-Solving, and Pull Systems as fundamental building blocks for the organization.

Responsible for developing capability in others in commitment and understanding of the business change of a zero loss mindset.

Responsible for training and coaching the problem-solving processes and tools at all levels of the plant including requirements to spend much of your daily time on the plant production floor.
What You Bring to the Team

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering or a related field such as Maintenance Management.

Sound understanding of and a minimum of 5 years of experience utilizing Lean and Continuous Improvement techniques and plant operations experience is preferred.

Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt preferred.

Experience and Training of plant operating systems at all levels within a manufacturing plant

Ability to build positive relationships at all levels within the organization and comfortable coaching up to senior leaders.

Experience with implantation of standardization of plant data collection systems and reporting

Must have past plant level project management experience.
