Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team. As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of nursing care within our organization. This is a leadership role that requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care
- Supervise and evaluate nursing staff, including nurses, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals
- Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare providers to develop care plans for patients
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Monitor and assess the performance of nursing staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Oversee the training and development of nursing staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively
- Manage budgets and resources related to nursing care
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in medical technology, treatments, and regulations
Skills:
- LTC care experience in a SNF hospital or similar setting
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and physiology
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills
- Ability to develop and implement care plans for patients
- Experience working in assisted living or home health settings is a plus

Qualifications
