Recognizing the increased need for quality early intervention and therapy services, Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Stephanie Ford, MS, BCBA, LBA opened Indigo Kids Behavioral Learning, LLC in July 2016. Indigo Kids is a small agency specializing in helping individuals with disabilities and behavioral challenges within the Central Florida region. Our clients range in disability and age from 18 months old to 21 years of age. Many children in the program are on the autism spectrum, while the remainder have developmental delays, learning differences, Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, chromosomal abnormalities and other learning and behavior concerns.
Working hand-in-hand with speech pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists and educational professionals, Indigo Kids develops and implements an appropriate path of learning that meets each child's specific needs. At Indigo Kids, children are taught how to learn using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and are given tools to communicate.
Children receive intensive instruction in language, self-care, social skills, academics and decision making. Through early intervention, children have a higher chance of succeeding in mainstream education, obtaining a career and fully participating in their families and communities.
