Old Orchard Nissan dealership has an opening for a Full Time & Part-Time receptionist/cashier position, 20-40 hours per week. The ideal candidate must be customer-focused and create a customer friendly environment. We are willing to train the right candidate who is dependable and punctual. This position starts at $18/hour.
Times and Days vary from either 7am-330pm, 1-930pm or 3pm-9:30pm Monday - Friday and Saturday. Closed Sundays.
Job Responsibilities:
- Calculate the customer’s bill using the dealership’s computer system.
- Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers.
- Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers.
- Record totals of sales deposits and verify against all cash, checks and credit card payments on hand at end of shift (add credit card slips to balance to batch totals) (communicate any discrepancies)
- Guarantee all checks in accordance with the company policy.
- Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer complaining customers to the appropriate Manager for resolution.
- Perform any other special duties as requested by the Controller
- Able to have a flexible work schedule, including all retail holidays
- ATTENTION TO DETAIL REQUIRED
Job/Education Requirements:
- High school diploma.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Excellent oral communication skills.
- Professional personal appearance.
- Ability to communicate customers' interests needs and requests to management and sales personnel.
