Overview:
Perform all tasks required under the direction of the Maintenance Manager. Respond to CMMS-generated work orders for preventative and reactive equipment repairs on automated production machinery and facility equipment. Assist Production and Mfg/Process Engineering for equipment adjustments and continuous improvement. Conduct safe work practices and 5S methods.
Responsibilities:
- Daily exposure to manufacturing environment involving fork truck activity and automated production machinery.

Perform scheduled/planned maintenance activities on manufacturing equipment.

Repair and improve mechanical components on assembly equipment.

Assist with basic maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment.

Ability to troubleshoot/repair pneumatics, hydraulics, motor/pump assemblies.

Ability to troubleshoot and repair material handling equipment such as conveyors, rotary actuators, robots/end of arm tooling.

Respond to CMMS work orders for preventative and reactive equipment maintenance.

Computer skills to follow and update maintenance records in CMMS.

Maintain 5S standards throughout the plant.

Initiate and implement Continuous Improvement ideas.

Assist with fabrication of items as needed by manufacturing.

Follow and promote company safety standards to ensure safe work environment.

Assist with engineering improvements/changes to assembly equipment as instructed.

Familiar with Lock Out/Tag Out safety procedures.

Observes all plant and departmental safety practices and procedures.

Must be able to work inside/outside throughout the year in the various environments.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to work 3rd shift (10:30pm - 6:30am)

High School diploma or equivalent (GED)

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

Proficient in the use of computer for CMMS systems

Highly motivated and able to work alone or in a team environment

2 year degree in industrial maintenance/automation a plus

Working knowledge of metal machining and manufacturing processes a plus

Basic electrical and PLC knowledge a plus

Previous experience in industrial maintenance a plus

Must be able to work on the weekends and/or overtime as required
