About the Team
The federal contracting team operates day-to-day as a small team that liaisons with our client in the financial industry. We rely on excellent communication and teamwork, as we partner cross functionally with other divisions across the agency. We consider ourselves experts in IT support and application development and strive to provide excellent rated services to the federal government. The team consists of a mix of Project Managers, Business Analysts, Web Developers, and other technical resources. We are a growing company, and we look for employees who can think outside of the box to find novel solutions and grow with us.
This position is with a federal agency in the financial industry, working on a program to provide technology and application support services.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The Senior Application Support Developer develops, maintains, and enhances applications. Analyzes business and functional requirements, architecture, and hardware limitations and implements technology to fulfill the requirements. Performs software development activities such as design, construction, debugging, testing, component integration, and maintenance using best practices and techniques, specifications, relevant standards and tools. Profiles, analyzes, optimizes, and enhances software to improve operating time, efficiency, or functionality. Designs complex Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs) that are user-friendly and intuitive. Ensures work products and deliverables meet software development, quality assurance, infrastructure, data integrity, security, and privacy standards and BOA/TO requireents. Provides technical leadership to less experienced staff in same role.
Minimum qualifications include:
· Five (5) or more years of experience using SharePoint and Microsoft Power Platform
· Five (5) or more years of experience in Microsoft 365 administration.
· Experience in developing proof of concepts and creating technical architecture components.
· Experience analyzing and resolving technical issues relating to system architecture.
· Experience creating and maintaining work products for application and data domains.
· Experience providing technical guidance to clients.
· Experience developing presentations and presenting to clients.
· Ability to work effectively with others in a team-oriented setting.
· Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
