Required:
Passion for working with at-risk youth
Arizona Cross Categorical Certificate or working towards a Special Education Credential
Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card
Able to teach in a non-traditional, computer based environment
Excellent interpersonal skills, team player

Responsibilities
- Implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with exceptionalities, ensuring their academic and social growth.
- Utilize effective classroom management strategies to create a positive learning environment.
- Develop and deliver engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning needs and styles.
- Collaborate with other educators, parents, and support staff to address students' individual needs and progress.
- Utilize specialized skills such as speech therapy and behavioral therapy to support students with communication and behavioral challenges.
- Incorporate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning experiences.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed to ensure student success.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student performance and progress.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in special education and related fields.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
