Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for patients, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
- Collect and analyze data to assess patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Provide child and family counseling to address emotional, behavioral, and mental health issues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Utilize coding systems to accurately bill for services rendered.
- Provide specialized care for patients with PTSD and other trauma-related disorders.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Respond to crisis situations and provide immediate intervention and support.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
- Valid licensure as a Clinical Therapist in the state of employment.
- Proficient in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions.
- Familiarity with medical record documentation and adherence to confidentiality regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
