We are currently looking to hire a part-time Telemedicine Coordinator (for multiple sites in Monterey County) to play an important role in the daily operations of our post-acute care practice's telemedicine program.
This successful applicant will support telemedicine clinicians at Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) in Salinas & Monterey. The overall goal is to assist the telemedicine clinician in facilitating telemedicine visits, coordinating patient care, and ensuring a seamless telemedicine experience for both patients and healthcare providers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as a liaison between the patient and telemedicine clinician by being the onsite extension of the telemedicine clinician, relaying important information and addressing patient concerns.
- Must be able to listen to complex medical information in a fast-paced environment and chart concise summaries within EMR.
- Obtain two-point patient identifiers and verbal consent for the telemedicine visit.
- Monitor vitals and assist telemedicine clinicians in obtaining histories and limited physical examinations.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to telemedicine software and equipment.
- Scribing experience a plus! Acurately and thoroughly scribe medical visits as they are being performed by the telemedicine clinician.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in telemedicine, healthcare, and medical scribing preferred.
- Proficient language skills and knowledge of medical terminology in both English and Spanish preferred.
- Familiarity with telemedicine platforms and technology, with the ability to quickly learn new software.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and maintaining patient confidentiality.
