Job Summary Arkscan is seeking a proactive and dedicated individual to join our team and contribute to the growth of our Amazon Store and online business. The ideal candidate will initially take on a technical support role, providing assistance to customers for Arkscan’s products via phone, live chat, remote desktop, and email. There is potential for the candidate to progress into leadership roles within the company. The candidate will also be responsible for analyzing customer needs, improving user experience, and enhancing product tutorials and guidelines.
Job Position Technical Support Specialist (Full-time or Part-time, 1099 Non-payroll worker)
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide customer support via live chat, phone calls, and email.
- Develop project plans and collaborate with outsourcing agencies to ensure timely completion.
- Enhance user manuals, website content, and YouTube channels for improved customer support and product marketing.
- Create video scripts and produce tutorial videos for customer training.
- Process orders, print shipping labels, pick products, and pack parcels.
- Handle customer returns, test, and evaluate returned products.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficient in operating Windows and Mac systems. Knowledge of Chromebook and Linux is a plus.
- Skills in Photoshop, video editing, programming, and website building are advantageous.
- Strong oral communication skills, particularly in providing technical and customer support over phone calls.
- Ability to multitask, manage concurrent live chats with customers, and handle phone calls.
- Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
- Self-motivated, able to create project plans, and a self-starter.
- Able to work both under supervision and independently.
- Strong interpersonal skills, highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies.
- Willingness to take on tasks beyond their current capabilities.
