Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and resolving issues
- Promote and upsell products or services to customers
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and promotions
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English; multilingual skills are a plus
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to perform basic math calculations and retail math functions
- Experience with cash handling procedures is desirable
