We are currently seeking a warm, energetic professional with experience cooking for children to join our team. The ideal candidate has a background in cooking, nurturing skills and a love for children!
Responsibilities:
This position will float back and forth from Kitchen to the classroom.
- Prepare Foods according to DYM Menu and CACFP
- Learn Lesson Plan details. and instructions
- Attend CDA classes must obtain within 10 months of employment
- Provide positive daily interactions with children.
- Maintain accurate and complete records as required by Health Department and state regulations.
- Provide appropriate meals and snacks for each child low in sugar, cholesterol
- Be able to make menu adjustments for children with special dietary needs.
- Follow recipes when completing the menus'
- Shift is from 8:30 -4pm Monday - Friday
- Must obtain a Food Managers Certification within 6-8 months of employment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
