The Account Analyst is the primary point of interaction for small to medium sized clients of PayFWDs. As a subject matter expert on Payroll, Time and Labor Management and HRIS, the Account Analyst position involves processing payroll with regular client communication, as well as assisting with client questions or issues.
Job Functions:
- Interact with clients by phone/email and utilizing screen-share software (Teams, etc.),
- Communicate professionally and effectively with client
- Support others within the team to ensure education, team cohesion, and excellent service.
- Provide ongoing client support with the use of diagnostic skills to identify root cause of client issues, develop solutions
- Research problems and demonstrate strong ability to independently resolve
- Complete additions to clients’ company master, such as deduction, earning and tax code set ups.
- Ensure data integrity for clients and PayFWDs:
- Maintain and audit for compliance the company level data settings including earnings, deductions and taxes and banking.
- Clients are in balance by the last day of the quarter for reconciliation by the tax department; tax department notified regarding issues that may impact tax filing.
- Follow operational policies, processes and procedures.
- Ensure the Client is well trained, functions independently and processes on schedule.
- Prioritize work to provide accurate and timely responses to PayFWD’s clients
- Proactively communicate with and foster relationships to ensure client satisfaction.
- Research and understand the client’s database to suggest additional services that may help the client in the management of the employee life cycle.
- Interacts with PayFWDs staff and other internal departments, as applicable
- Demonstrates integrity, ethics, accountability, responsibility, initiative, positivity, and teamwork always.
- Perform all assigned job duties in accordance with Company policies, procedures and standard practices.
Education, Knowledge and Experience Requirements:
The Account Analyst position will work in the support of and under the direction of the Vice President – Business Operations and must be capable of performing in a responsible and efficient manner the techniques and tasks that are assigned. The Account Analyst must also be familiar with software (MS Office Suite, HRIS, Outlook, Payroll, TLM and Personal Computer operation.)
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or related degree is preferred.
· Certification: SPHR, PHR, SHRM – CP, SHRM – SCP, FPC or CPP certification preferred.
· Industry Experience: Minimum of the (3) years of experience in client service excellence with knowledge of workforce management products (Payroll, HR, or TLM) preferred. Minimum of three (3) years’ experience working with web-based technologies preferred, in integration or implementations of cloud-based systems a plus. Proficient in Federal and State employment laws and regulations. Working knowledge of accounting packages and time and attendance solutions preferred. Federal, State and local tax reporting compliance. Knowledgeable regarding pretax and deferred compensation plans and compliance.
