Job Summary
We are a rapidly growing organization that is looking to add an experienced platform engineer to our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure and platforms that support software development. This role involves a blend of computer science, engineering, and creative problem-solving to deliver efficient and robust technological solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop software and infrastructure for digital platforms.
- Enhance system scaling and performance to accommodate higher data volumes and processing needs.
- Ensure system security, optimal performance, and stability across all systems.
- Collaborate with software engineers, system architects, data engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare reports for systems and assets and communicate effectively with platform users and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, TSQL, and cloud services.
- Experience with system design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and tools is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with automation scripts and tools.
- Proficiency with programming in C# and/or database technologies such as SQL Server and REDIS.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
- Familiarity with cloud-based servers and services such as Azure.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Administer configurations for various environments and maintain applications.
You must have good communication skills, be able to work under pressure and handle multiple projects at once. Time management and organization skills are a must. The typical workday will involve working with our project and product managers, as well as our other back-end developers to successfully implement a scalable platform.
