Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support and care to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Administer first aid and medication as needed
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Support individuals in community integration and social activities
- Provide transportation to appointments, outings, and activities
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for individuals
Experience:
- Experience or Interest working with people with disabilities or other behavioral issues.
- Ability to provide support in a respectful manner that meets the various needs of the person supported.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Commitment to understanding individual developmental, physical, and/or emotional limitations.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
