Lead and consult on biostatistical analysis and dissemination of information for Merz Aesthetics; serves the global scientific review coordinator, identifies/implements/leads Medical Affairs-based projects or unique projects in conjunction with internal stakeholders and medical directors to provide statistical expertise and support. Assists with new indication/product launch support (from a Medical Affairs perspective) and provide support/expertise/guidance on data gap identification, data mining and analysis of real-world evidence (RWE) data.
Responsibilities:
Technical & Functional Skills:
- Knowledge of statistical methods
- Knowledge of SAS and/or R statistical software
- Strong oral and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate statistical methodology and results to non-statisticians
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word and comfort with large variety of online meeting tools and AV equipment
- Ability to demonstrate teamwork and cross functional collaboration
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines in a professional manner
Minimum Qualifications:
- An advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in biostatistics, applied statistics or related field.
- Minimum of two (2) years of work experience consistent with that expected of a Statistical Analyst position.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Clinical application experience in aesthetics, neurosciences or related fields
- Prior experience working in a pharma and/or medical device environment
- Project management experience
- Technical writing skills, at minimum for materials and methods for assistance in manuscripts
- Ability to work with SmartSheets, Veeva or other document management software
