Job Duties, but not limited to:
- Supports Foundation Director to gather data, assess prospects, and develop strategies designed to realize the current and lifetime giving potential of individual prospects
- Creates strategic plan for cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of donors
- Ensures accurate and efficient data management and entry regarding donor moves
- Represents Foundation in meetings and dealings with outside agencies, including governmental agencies
- Develops and manages correspondences with donors and prospects
- Maintains a thorough working knowledge of the Foundation's case for support, mission, and annual fundraising opportunities
- Reports to the Foundation Director on matters concerning the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of donors
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Ideally three years of progressively responsible experience in direct fundraising, minimum one year.
- Experince in major gift fundraising with a proven track record of securing major donor gifts $1000+
- Must possess thorough knowledge, understanding, and experience in all areas of fundraising, including annual giving, major gifts, planned giving, and capital campaigns.
- Preffered CFRE
- Experience working with boards of directors and volunteers strongly preferred.
- Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm
- Must have organizational planning skills
- Detail Oriented
- Strong written and oral communications
- Self-accountability and integrity
