Summary
The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for purchasing, inventory, and facilities tasks. Following food safety, quality, and food regulatory requirements are critical in performance of all job duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
In accordance with all company policies, the essential duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Follow all company policies including: GMPs, HACCP, safety procedures, and product quality standards.
- Immediately report any non-conformance against GFSI standards or other regulatory requirements.
- Report any unusual activity related to food defense/food security
- Oversee department materials and supplies inventory.
- Serve as the primary MVP One user for department planning, scheduling, inventory
- Backup/support the department mechanics and personnel as assigned by supervisor.
- Serve as the liaison/support for department contractor/service provider projects and services.
Inventory: Daily Tasks
- Inventory check outs
- Generate requisitions
- Gather quotes for requisitions if necessary
- Pricing evaluations (goal is moving away from OEMs and finding same products locally for less cost)
- Place orders
- Receive packages
- Receive parts to MVP One
- Tag and place parts in inventory
- Receiving paperwork to accounts payable
- General upkeep in parts cage
- Vendor management
Inventory: Monthly Tasks
- Print out inventory report and send to corporate headquarters
- Inventory cycle counts
Inventory: Yearly Tasks
- Physical count of all inventory items
Facilities: Monthly Tasks
- Safety Kleen - contact for pickup of oven waste
- Water sample collection for Wayne County Water Authority
Facilities: Quarterly Tasks
- Fire protection inspection
Equipment: Yearly Tasks
- Metal detector calibration
- Chart recorder calibration
- Checkweigher calibration
Additional Duties
Methods of Accountability
Through a review of the performance of above duties and responsibilities.
Through various oral and written communications to and from the Director of Maintenance and other management personnel.
Standards of Performance
Quality of all aspects of performance of job duties.
Level of efficiency attained in performance of job duties.
Communication and cooperation with all members of the Management Team.
Enactments of all company policies.
Qualifications
- Previous purchasing/ordering experience
- Ability to handle physical workload (receiving, carrying, stocking parts)
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience with MVP One preferred (will train right candidate)
Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, bend, stoop, ascend and descend stairs. Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Work Environment: Temperatures can be extreme, including both heat and cold. Protective eyewear and footwear are required. Additional protective equipment may be required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
