Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team at an automotive repair shop. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish, possess excellent customer service skills, and be highly organized. Experience with QuickBooks and Google Drive is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to customers, ensuring their needs are met and concerns are addressed.
- Answering Phones: Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally.
- Returning Missed Calls and Texts: Follow up on missed calls and texts to ensure timely communication with customers.
- Check Emails: Regularly monitor and respond to emails to ensure effective communication.
- Follow Up with Pending Tasks: Monitor and follow up on pending work orders and tasks to ensure timely completion.
- Cashier: Handle transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Order Parts: Manage parts ordering to ensure timely delivery and availability.
- Financing: Assist customers with financing options and processes.
- Returns: Handle returns efficiently and maintain accurate records.
- Warranties: Manage warranty claims and ensure proper documentation.
- Accounts Payable: Oversee accounts payable tasks, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
- Google Reviews: Encourage and manage customer reviews on Google.
- Payroll: Assist with payroll processing and ensure accuracy.
- Clean: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the waiting area, office space, and bathrooms.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as necessary to support the team and shop operations.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Experience with QuickBooks (preferred)
- Experience with Google Drive (preferred)
