Remodeling Sales/Interior Design Lead
Reports to: VP of Sales
Exempt / Non-Exempt: Exempt (Salaried)
Measures of Success:
1. Goal-Smashing Sales and Excellent Design We at JL want to be industry leaders in both sales and design; we aim to be leaders in quality and engagement with our clients. We will ADD VALUE to the process most clients dread. Our Sales Leads are responsible for driving the company's success, so there is a high amount of responsibility to keep our execution pipeline filled with well-developed designs with amazing clients. You will be given very clear sales targets and we will provide resources to meet or exceed them! Selling the client an interior remodeling design is our primary focus, resulting in eventual construction with our field team. Your role in our process is to LISTEN to clients, dream with them, capture their vision through design, and sell the project using our unique process.

We prioritize listening over speaking, asking insightful questions to truly understand our clients, and delivering tailored solutions that exceed expectations. Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to discuss their design and remodeling needs, asking the right questions, and educating them on our process.
- Work with our team to build a scope of work that will aid the clients in achieving their goals.
- Prepare a detailed scope of work, including material and labor costs.
- Collaborate with clients and vendors to select materials, finishes, and fixtures that meet project requirements and budget.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, products, and technologies to provide clients with the most innovative and functional design solutions.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients throughout the design and remodeling process. Work collaboratively with other members of the team to ensure the success of each project.
- Maintain 40 hours of earnest work weekly
What Your Background Looks Like
- Bachelor's degree in finance, marketing, or construction field
- 2+ years of experience in interior design/sales, preferably in the kitchen and bath remodeling industry.
- Strong understanding of the residential construction process and building standards.
- Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude, passion for design, and commitment to excellence.

- Able to resolve conflicts and negotiate well without emotion
- An innovative and motivational mentality.
- Excellent decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- You have boundaries and know when to add/subtract work from your desk

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $67,000.00 per year
