Role Description:
Cold Bore Technology is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our growing team in the United States. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, the ideal candidate is an experienced salesperson in the completions space, who has ample experience selling completions equipment, services and/or technology. They will have a deep understanding of the completions space, both from a technology and an operations standpoint. This role is focused on bringing new opportunities and overall quality customer management. Liaising with multiple departments, they are responsible for ensuring that the customers’ requirements are fulfilled, in addition to providing oversight and customer support.
Responsibilities:
- Promote the positive and collaborative “Cold Bore Culture”.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers.
- Utilize your existing network to promote CBT both in person and online.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to build on and improve the current sales process and aggressively scale the business in the US.
- Be a representative of Cold Bore while introducing and building relationships with as many E&P companies as possible.
- Build a strong understanding of our product and service portfolio, with the ability to leverage this knowledge to proactively satisfy our customers’ needs.
- Work collaboratively with our Sales team and Operations to ensure we are exceeding our customers’ needs and expectations.
- CRM updating on a regular basis.
- Provide the Cold Bore leadership with ongoing feedback from customers.
- Attend daily morning meeting and info/knowledge share data to sales for outstanding job or KO information, service interruptions, etc.
- Interdepartmental Meeting Attendance - Internal interaction with different departments within CBT to assist in building alignment throughout the organization.
- Attending weekly BD workshops and sales training meetings and develop an understanding of all the company's services and products.
- Weekly review with ACE Team (Jobs and Scheduling to build out alignment and ensure execution is setup correctly.
- Inputting and organizing information required to execute the SmartPAD™ deployment, ensuring the information is accurate and delivered on time.
- Industry event attendance.
- Core focus on new customer and industry partner opportunities.
- Understanding, documenting and dispersing customer information to all required departments.
Requirements:
- 4-10 years of technical sales experience within frac and completions.
- Experience utilizing a CRM system to effectively manage customer relationships and foster the continued growth of the business.
- Have a strong network and contacts in the Completions Space.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with experience in presenting demos to customers.
- Experience with inside sales, including follow-through of service delivery.
- Experience in extensive sales cycles is preferred.
- Strong relationship building skills, including coordination and organization.
- Being comfortable with navigating company software and processes.
- Ability and motivation to provide full-service to the customer.
- Knowledge in IoT and software, and the benefits of automated operating systems.
- Understanding of the value of consolidated normalized databases on a frac location.
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) is preferred.
- Self-starter with a hands-on approach to sales.
- Ability and willingness to travel for work as required.
- Positive attitude and an ambition to succeed in a fast-paced, results-oriented sales environment.
- Ability to work remote and independently with efficiency.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation.

Pay: From $105,000.00 per year
