US Medical has identified new opportunities for Teachers . The position for teachers will be responsible for the curriculum, social and emotional support for the children in the preschool classroom.
Required Education and Experience:
Associate degree with two years childcare work experience in a preschool/kindergarten setting or valid CDA with at least 2 years’ experience in a Lead Teacher position developing a curriculum.
Preferred Education:
Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop, plan and lead curriculum for children ages 2-5 years old in the crisis nursery. Maintain adequate knowledge of all children in the program and respond to emotional, social and physical needs. Provide daily care and safety of children during activities both inside and outside facility. Ensure all documentation of observations of children and maintain other required written documentation of work. As needed may assume supervisory responsibilities for operation of the program in the absence of the supervisor.
This position operates in a classroom environment. This role is required to be able to engage with not only children ages 2-5yo but may require working in other classrooms with children birth to 2yo with different developmental levels and stages. This role also uses standard office equipment such as computers, phone, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
