```Duties```
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Take and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and equipment as needed
- Monitor patients' condition and report any changes to the nursing staff
- Assist with feeding and ensure patients' nutritional needs are met
- Collect specimens for laboratory testing as directed by the nursing staff
- Assist with wound care and dressing changes
- Administer medications under the direction of a nurse
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic medical records (EMR) system
```Qualifications```
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program
- Current certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) in the state of employment
- Knowledge of basic nursing procedures and medical terminology
- Experience in spinal tap, catheter care, memory care, medication administration, and critical care is preferred
- Familiarity with Cerner or other electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Understanding of patient privacy laws (HIPAA) and ability to maintain confidentiality
