We are hiring RNFA's for Cardiovascular (CV) and Liver Transplant
This job carries out functions that assist the surgeon in performing surgery with optimal results for the patient, practices under the direct supervision of the surgeon, and functions in either a circulator or scrub role. Provides for the delivery of patient care utilizing the Nursing Process. Directs and assists licensed and ancillary team members with assigned responsibilities; collaborates with multidisciplinary team and coordinates delivery of plan of care.

Education
Required - Registered Nurse diploma
Preferred - Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
Work Experience
Required - 5 years Operating Room experience
Certifications
Required - Current RN License in the state of practice
Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
Preferred - Certification in perioperative nursing (CNOR). Successful completion of an RNFA program.
Job Duties
- Performs direct and indirect patient care duties.
- Exhibits competencies in the care of and services provided to patients/customers in specific relation to their age and developmental stage with supervision of the staff nurse.
- Communicates with Surgeon on any special needs.
- Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including but not limited to: respect for privacy, method of introduction to the patient, adapting explanation of services or procedures to be performed, requesting permissions and communication style.
