Raise Workforce has partnered with a leading sheet metal and custom weld fabricators in the contract manufacturing industry.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing facility, grounds and manufacturing machinery. You would also be responsible for supervising custodial staff.
What you will be doing...

Inspect, maintain and perform primary repair of mechanical equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance on all building machinery and equipment

Make recommendations regarding replacement of machinery

Keep the building in compliance with OSHA regulations
Why this is the right job for you…

High school diploma or GED
-
Knowledge of manufacturing machinery
-
Five or more years related experience preferred
- Hands-on knowledge of painting, carpentry, plumbing, etc.

Extensive knowledge of electrical wiring, circuits, up to 220V
- Must supply own tools

Fluent in verbal and written English

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly

Requires frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers

May be required to stand for long periods of time
-
May involve some repetitive motions

Due to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold
