Real Estate Asset Management Assistant
Position Overview:
Our Real Estate Asset Management Assistant plays a vital role in the daily tasks associated with running a dynamic real estate firm. You are deeply committed to continuous improvement of Venture’s investment properties, growing vreg’s real estate portfolio and property/construction management processes. You must be able to switch between multiple tasks and prioritize while ensuring that nothing falls through the cracks. You’re a problem solver, critical thinker, have great work ethic and are excited to do the job! You are, at times, the first point of contact for our clients, tenants and vendors, greeting them in a friendly manner while answering their questions or putting them in touch with the person who can. No matter what comes across your desk, you are able to get it done and communicate clearly with multiple parties. Having a background in property management, analytics, and real estate is helpful.
Essential Tasks:
Administrative Support – provides comprehensive support for our firm by completing a variety of tasks in a timely and professional manner.
Research & Analysis – review and analyze the real estate market, valuations, rents, short-term/long-term and adjust value accordingly etc.
Communication – composing and preparing correspondence to various team members, tenants, Airbnb/VRBO guests, manage incoming calls/email/mail in a timely manner and accurately solve any issues or pass on communication.
Organization – oversee and maintain the organization of each property or LLC, LLC files, property transaction files, bank statements, and assist and attend weekly company meetings and company events.
Property Management – rent roll, deposit rental checks, tenant notices, new lease agreements, lease renewals, lease management, walk-throughs, marketing and advertising, creating property flyers, scheduling photos, work with contractors on remodel/renovations, work with bookkeeper and CPA, review monthly bank statements and mortgage statements for properties and provide to CPA. Work with contractors, vendors and clients for estimates timeline and payment.
Asset Management – Update QuickBooks for each property and company QuickBooks, prepare financial documents for property sales, be available during sale events (tours, inspection, appraisals, etc), valuations of new and existing properties, oversee and property managers, oversee contractors, watch and maintain budget for each property. Work with CPA and provide investors approved financials and K1’s as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a related field

Responsibilities:
- Document, implement, and track Vreg systems and processes
- Maintain schedules by booking appointments, showings and events
- Lease agreements, rental agreements, short term or long term
- Manage AIRBNB and VRBO
- Manage any company staging, moving, etc for company properties.
- Prepare and deliver tenant notices
- Manage LLC files
- Manage rent roll and bank statements
- Set up and maintain client files on Microsoft SharePoint
- Arrange sign, contractor box and key box at properties
- Coordinate with photographers for property photos
- Input information on the MLS
- Find contractors and vendors for renovation and to service properties
- Provide requested MLS or property research
- Accept and distribute rent payment via mail
- Answer phones and record/deliver messages. Be available as a property manager 24/7.
- Participates in the conceptual development of each new multi-family project and helps coordinate, schedule and implement
As well as other duties and responsibilities consistent with the position, as determined by Andrew and Jamie Langsford, to whom you will report.
Benefits:
Benefits include two weeks of accrued paid vacation each year. Vacation or leave accrues after 120 days at the company.
Sick time accrual: 1 hour earned per 40 hours worked
Paid holidays that land on a workday (according to Venture’s Holiday Schedule)
Payment will be made in regular bi-weekly payroll schedule.
Reimbursement of initial real estate license and courses.
Schedule is five days a week, with occasional tasks outside of work including weekend and after work hours. Per industry standard.
Schedule is 40 hours per week

Salary Position Compensation: $65,000-73,000 (Depends on Experience)
