What we are looking for:
The Multi-Unit Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring that the quality of Gotham Bagels products and services meets or exceeds customer expectations. He/she/they are a crucial part of the company leadership team and oversee the performance, efficiency, and satisfaction of employees and customers.
OBJECTIVE
The Operations Manager’s main mission is to oversee the daily operations of all our locations, ensuring that our stores are running efficiently, effectively, and in compliance with all company policies and procedures. They will manage both front and back of house employees including training programs, quality control overview, and scheduling.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily Operations
- Lead and supervise the day-to-day operations of multiple locations
- Organizing team schedules, handling staff issues, and authorizing vacation and sick leave.
- Conduct regular store visits to assess operational performance, provide feedback, and address any issues or concerns.
- Address operational issues and concerns in a timely fashion.
- Filling in for absent employees and assisting teams as needed.
- Ensure that our store facilities are clean, safe, and organized.
- Ensuring that employees follow company policies, as well as health and safety regulations.
- Identifying potential operational problems and points of friction, collaborating with the corporate team to find solutions to maximize efficiency and revenue.
- Monitor inventory levels, ordering, and supply chain management to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste
- Coordinate routine maintenance and repair works for equipment.
- Maintain constant communication with store supervisors, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the stores.
- Managing various department-specific initiatives and ensure that these are completed within the scope, time, and budget.
Food Quality
- Regularly review product quality.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Financial Management
- Monitoring the store’s budget compliance.
- Identify opportunities for cost-saving measures and revenue growth initiatives.
Work Environment
- Lead, motivate, and support employees to perform at their best.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and employee engagement.
- Handle all staff issues ethically and professionally. Team Development
- Track staffing requirements, hiring new employees as needed.
- Recruit, train, and develop store supervisors and staff members to develop a high-performing team.
- Set clear performance expectations, provide ongoing coaching and feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and employee engagement.
- Resolve employee conflicts and address performance issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Develop and maintain operational guidelines for staff.
Customer Service
- Monitor customer feedback and satisfaction levels, taking proactive measures to address concerns and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Ensure a high and consistent standard of customer service.
- Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints.
Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality products and services.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
What makes you great?
- Bi-Lingual - English and Spanish
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field
- Experience with Toast POS Systems
- Experience with Customer feedback systems such as Google Reviews, Yelp, and Toast
- Experience developing Training Programs

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
