INFORMATION/REQUIREMENTS:
This position will remain open until filled. An initial screening of applicants took place at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2024. Subsequent screenings may take place. JOB SUMMARY:
An Assistant Director of Transportation is responsible for assisting in the planning, organizing, and managing of transportation operations within an organization. The role collaborates with the Director of Transportation to develop and implement transportation policies, procedures, and strategies. Duties include supporting the oversight of daily operations of the transportation department, including managing staff, coordinating schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The position also supports the development and analysis of transportation data, monitoring budgetary compliance, and make recommendations for improvements in efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
