**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical skills and strong understanding of financial concepts and excellent 10-key typing skills. Experience with QuickBooks, medical collections, and knowledge of GAAP principles are highly desirable.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist with pricing products for clients and maintaining records.
- Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables' data
- Prepare bills, invoices, by utilizing raw data from pharmacy software
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
- Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients' billing issues
- Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status
**Experience:**
- Extensive experience in excel spreadsheets and tables
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Knowledge of medical collections practices
- Familiarity with financial math and principles of GAAP
- Strong customer service skills to interact with clients regarding billing inquiries
- Understanding of medical terminology is a plus
- Ability to work with accounting systems like PeopleSoft
- Familiarity with healthcare or pharmacy is a plus
