PURPOSE
To manage and direct all maintenance required at each building/campus; to work as the facilities team member to accomplish the goal of providing and maintaining an environment of excellence and promoting the utilization of the Facilities Department to accomplish the vision of The Spirit Church.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
- Work closely with the Facilities Director and Office Administrator to help run all facets of Facilities
- Will be responsible for the cleaning of the building and ensuring building is maintained
- Maintain facility's cleanliness always including interior and exterior areas
- Work with Office Administrator on creating daily, weekly, monthly, and annual cleaning checklist
- Meet weekly with Office Administrator to discuss upcoming events, projects, conferences, etc.
- Meet weekly with Office Administrator to discuss work done in the past few weeks
- Work closely with Facilities Director and Office Administrator to assess building needs and projects/maintenance to be done
- Responds to all emergencies and make assessments. Work closely with Facilities Director and/or Office Administrator to find a solution when necessary
- As much as possible, assume all responsibility for general repair of broken items. When an issue arises where we do not have skill/equipment to fix a problem, speak with Office Administrator to seek out an outside vendor to fix the problem
- Responsible for making sure as best as possible everything is in working order for services, events, and conferences
- Ensure building is 100% ready
- Set HVAC temperatures
- Always on call to serve/react to emergencies
- After services, make sure buildings are locked and secure
QUALIFICATIONS

- General knowledge of cleaning, custodial work
- Previous experience working in a facility is desired
- Knowledge of general cleaning and maintenance
- Prior experience with cleaning materials, equipment and supplies
- Must be willing to lift a minimum of 25 lbs
- Must practice proper lifting and workplace safety at all times
- Attend safety training classes
- Work Ethic that is excellent, protective and frugal with time and money
- Must have the ability and desire work with a spirit of excellence
- Self-motivated
