PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The PR and Media Manager will manage Public Relations and media focused marketing initiatives with a focus on brand awareness and editorial content. Strong communication skills, creativity, and enthusiasm for our mission are integral to this position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop engaging content to support sales and social media efforts, including graphics, videos, and written materials, to connect with donors and partners.
- Utilize Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva to create visually appealing and impactful content.
- Oversee and manage relationships with vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery of services.
- Craft and pitch compelling stories that highlight the significant work of Operation Warm across various markets.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with networks, journalists, producers, and partner PR teams to enhance media coverage.
- Conceptualize and develop creative angles to integrate Operation Warm's story into relevant media narratives.
- Manage applications for awards and recognitions, staying up to date on industry trends to identify opportunities.
- Lead and coordinate PR campaigns in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with organizational goals.
- Oversee the creation and distribution of press releases and manage media pitching efforts to secure coverage.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Completion of a bachelor's degree in marketing or a related area
- 3+ years of public relations and media management experience with proven results
- Written communication skills, along with strong attention to detail
- History of successful collaboration in a team-orientated environment
- Strong problem-solving skills - flexible and adaptable to constantly changing priorities
- Ability to work well under pressure and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Meltwater, Salesforce, Adobe Creative Suite, and Asana are preferred.
- Spanish language skills preferred.
