Machinery Partner is on a mission to build the Amazon for Industrial Equipment. This is a sector previously underserved by technology and which had $180B in transaction volume in the US alone last year.
We are changing how small and growing industrial businesses buy large pieces of complex equipment and finance their expansion, starting with industrial recycling in the US (a $24B market).
About this Opportunity: As the Sales leader, you'll report directly to the CEO and have board exposure. You'll own the sales strategy, driving revenue growth, and own rep coaching. You'll lead by example, combining your expertise in sales with process to propel our marketplace to new heights.
Responsibilities will fall into three major focus areas including Revenue, Rep Coaching and Recruiting.

Forecasting: Handle monthly and quarterly revenue forecasting, as well as inform supply curation based on demand signals.

Process: Monitor KPIs and adjust strategies as needed. Curate and define playbooks for outbound motion in both machines sales and partner sales.

Channel Sales: Drive new motions increasing deal volume, average order value (AOV), and expansion to new verticals.

Client Engagement: Travel to customers and potential clients to lead executive-level conversations. Establish relationships with key industry players.

Lead a Team: Manage a team of 6 remote Account Executives and inspire them.

Coaching: Provide ongoing coaching, training, and performance feedback.

Commission Plans: Build and run commission plans on a monthly and quarterly basis including SPIF.

Build your team: Recruit, onboard, and develop top-tier sales talent.

Collaboration: Conduct weekly 1:1 meetings with individual contributors and cross-functional meetings with Marketing, Operations, and Finance.
- Proven track record in sales of physical products, preferably within a blue-collar context.

Channel sales experience and/or strong opinion.

Experience leading and scaling sales teams in a startup environment.

Tech-savvy mindset with the ability to adapt to emerging trends.

Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making.
