TITLE: ReFabb4Less Technician
REPORTS TO: ReFabb4Less Store Manager
ReFabb4Less is a home improvement center that accepts donated goods from retailers, manufacturers, contractors and homeowners. Building supplies are then sold, at reduced prices, to the general public. The store's operations generate funds to support the Casper Housing Authority CARES’ supportive programming.
SUMMARY: ReFabb4Less facilitates recycling, minimizes landfill waste, provides low-cost home improvement materials to the public, and increases Casper Housing Authority CARES' visibility in our community.
DESCRIPTION: The ReFabb4Less Tech is responsible for assisting the ReFabb Manager with all aspects of operations; Store staging, dealing with customers, accepting donations, managing the warehouse, driving the box truck, operating a lift gate, being a face of the organization.
Essential Job Functions / Specific responsibilities include:
Must be good with people. Must not have lift restrictions. Must be able to work with diverse populations and diverse people.
Operations:
- Provides quality customer service and handles grievances professionally.
- Facilitates the proper maintenance of building, equipment and vehicles.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and accident procedures.
- Help identify solutions to issues that may arise relating to operations so that the smooth running of ReFabb4Less is optimally maintained.
- Participate in developing, rolling out and measuring marketing, advertising and social media programs to increase donations, sales and volunteer participation.
Reporting and Communications:
- Attend scheduled staff meetings.
- Assist in implementing and monitoring systems for daily cash and credit transactions and deposits. Ensures proper procedures are followed.
- Cashier when needed.
Minimum Qualifications / Required Skills / Experience / Physical Requirements
- Self-motivation.
- Ability to lead, train, and manage volunteers in a positive manner.
- Knowledge of sales, marketing, merchandising, and construction materials.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Basic computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets and email.
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and unexpected shifts in priorities.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Licenses, Certificates, and Other Requirements
- Successful passage of criminal background and drug screen testing.
- Must possess valid Driver’s License
