Position Overview: LMV Counseling, located in Wilmington, NC, is seeking an Evening & Weekend Therapist. The evenings and weekends are an important time for clients seeking mental health to access services without having to take time off of work.
This is a full-time position requiring an average of 25 clinical hours of work per week. Flexibility is available for in person and online appointments. Schedule also includes daytime hours.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of clients and keep accurate up to date records
- Complete clinical assessments, treatment plans and progress notes
- Manage the scheduling needs of your existing caseload
- Correspond to administrative team regarding availability and current caseload.
- Re-engage active clients by contacting them after 30 days of not having a session.
- Maintain a high level of organization.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with team members; be respectful of, cooperative and collaborative with coworkers.
- Maintain the office space in a safe and inviting manner.

Required Skills & Abilities:
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize various projects independently; including setting goals and timelines to achieve them.
- Passion for working with others (being collaborative)
- Ability to set goals and develop achievable timelines to hit them. This role requires clinical documentation to be completed within 24 hours of a session.
- Ability to align with LMV Counseling’s mission, vision, and values.
- Must be friendly and welcoming in all written and verbal interactions. This position is public facing and interactions with our business need to be seen as a positive one.
- Reliable, punctual and on-time.
- Ability to create and maintain accurate records.
- Must be comfortable with phone conversations and navigating difficult conversations with potential clients and current clients.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications & Experience
- Masters in Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Social Work, or Psychology
- Licensed to practice psychotherapy in the state of North Carolina
- 2+ years of previous experience managing a caseload of psychotherapy clients
- A strong interest in and commitment to mental health and therapy services.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
