Job Summary:
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service to customers, assist with inquiries, and promote products or services. As a MobiTechXpress Employee, you’ll be the first point of contact for people seeking technology support, knowledge and solutions. We’ll provide the training and resources you need to ask the right questions, listen carefully, take detailed notes and partner with other employees’ as needed to help customers who visit our shop. Working together, we’ll create a supportive, positive environment for anyone who is facing tech challenges or wants to get more out of their devices.
Duties:
- Greet customers warmly and ascertain the reason for their visit
- Provide accurate information on products or services
- Process transactions using cash registers
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
- Keep records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints
- Recommend and upsell products based on customer needs
- Conduct product demonstrations when required
What You’ll Do
- Provide positive, timely service to customers during the check-in and checkout process
- Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, asking follow-up questions, taking detailed notes and providing accurate time estimates for next steps
- Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers
- Clearly communicate and partner with fellow employees
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Test and calibrate repaired equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance.
- Follow safety protocols when working with hazardous materials.
- Provide customer service to clients with repair needs.
- Order parts as needed for repairs.
Experience:
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service preferred
- Familiarity with wireless sales is a plus
- Proficiency in cash handling and operating a cash register
- Strong phone etiquette skills
- Ability to upsell and cross-sell products effectively
- Multilingual abilities, especially in Spanish, are advantageous
- Experience with technical sales or product demos is beneficial

Job Hours and Pay Rate:
- Job Type: Part-time
- Hours: 36 (per week)
- Pay: $9.00 - $13.00 (per hour)
Schedule:
- 6 hour shift (Per Day), Maximum of 36Hrs. per week for the first 180Days of testing.
- Monday to Saturday (Sunday Closed)
- All Holiday (Closed)
