LINE TECHNICIAN
Manufacturing plant is looking for a Line Technician. Experience in operating, setting up and performing maintenance on high precision production equipment in a metal stamping and forming environment.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Produce parts to customer specifications.
- Understand piece part drawings.
- Measure parts using the proper inspection equipment and inspect raw materials.
- Enter data and fill out inspection sheets.
- Make adjustment to tooling to keep parts in specification.
- Ensure proper labeling, packaging and palletizing of parts.
- Perform all other duties, as assigned.
Skills and Requirements:
- Positive attitude and a team player.
- Must have good record keeping skills.
- Ability to measure parts accurately using toolmaker microscopes, comparators etc.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
- Good work ethics and a desire to learn are essential.
- Good communication skills and attention to details are a must.
Physical Requirements:
- Be able to work in assembly plants.
- Frequent standing, lifting, and walking.
Specific Knowledge, License, Certifications, Etc.:
- 3 years minimum recent experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- GED or High School Diploma Required.
