Job Description:
The Procurement Specialist oversees and manages the stock of items needed for a consistent flow of production for manufacturing and field divisions of Mesa. He/She will maintain inventory levels in the warehouse and Distribution Centers to ensure a well-organized, functional, safe work space. Procurement Specialist should have excellent planning skills, computer skills, multi-tasking skills, and a focus on attention to detail.
Essential Duties:
-
Responsible for maintaining healthy stock levels and help to identify shortages and avoid down time in the manufacturing and field divisions of Mesa.
-
Must be able to move with purpose, will need to pro-actively seek out shortages before they occur and identify alternate inventory and or vendors.
-
Proactively work with Logistics to identify areas to improve efficiency with stocking and maintaining the Engine Distribution Center and inventory.
-
Identify when supplies are running low, effectively communicate need to replenish stock with Logistics and the Chief of Procurement.

Responsible for quick reaction to production and field shortages; investigate reason for shortage, find solutions and clearly communicate up and down the chain of command.

Identify and solve inventory problems with minimal guidance.

Education:
Required:

Hight School Degree or equivalent.
Preferred:

Associates degree.

Bachelors degree.
Experience:
Required:

1 year of inventory experience.

Strong planning skills with a focus on attention to detail.
Preferred:

Warehouse and Forklift experience.

Previous procurement experience and general procurement knowledge.

Honorably discharged service veterans.
Certifications, Licenses & Registrations:

Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers.
