Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray
Well-established, 5.0 Google rated, women's imaging organization is seeking an experienced
_ X-Ray Technologist _for our Norcross location. We currently have 14 physical locations that provide state-of-the-art 2D / 3D diagnostic medical imaging services specializing in 3D mammography & breast ultrasound, bone densitometry & general ultrasound. Norcross is our only Georgia location that provides X-Ray. The ideal candidate must be well versed in all aspects of x-ray imaging and patient care. Must be warm, compassionate and caring and possess an outwardly positive attitude. Candidate must be ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist.
This position is a Full Time, non-exempt position with excellent benefits, provides a family-feel work environment and offers flexibility. Hourly compensation is negotiable based on experience.
Under direct supervision, the X-ray technician performs various functions in making sure that radiologic imaging procedures/processes are carried out in a timely and efficient manner.
Tasks, Duties, Responsibilities:
- Capture x-ray images for diagnosis and treatment purposes
- Communicating with patients for the purpose of education and to calm fears and anxiety
- Ensuring proper protection coverage of the patient to avoid over-exposure to radiation
- Perform equipment QC based on the manufacturer's recommendations
- Maintaining proper maintenance and quality control records and regulatory compliance
- Ensuring that preventative maintenance and inspections of equipment are done in a timely manner

- Excellent communication skills on all fronts
- Must have good hand-eye coordination
- Must be someone that pays keen attention to details
- Must display a high level of flexibility in the process of carrying out assigned duties. This may entail filling in for other colleagues in the face of tight schedules
- Must be willing and able to work as part of a team.
- Must be able to analyze complex situations within a limited time-frame
- Must be able to multi-task
- Must have an in-depth knowledge of human anatomy
- Must have a clear understanding of how to handle and operate medical imaging equipment
Requirements:
- Must be ARRT (R) registered.
- A minimum of 2 years working experience in a healthcare facility as an x-ray or radiologic technologist.
- Must have the current certifications to operate X-Ray equipment

Pay: $31.00 - $34.00 per hour
