Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
- Ensure accurate cash handling and process payments from customers
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including restocking supplies as needed
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders for catering events or banquets
- Maintain knowledge of current drink trends and menu offerings
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, or concerns in a professional manner
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and spirits
- Excellent math skills for accurately processing payments and making change
- Ability to handle cash transactions in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers, kitchen staff, and other team members
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a high-volume setting
- Knowledge of food handling regulations and safety protocols
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry or food service is preferred
