Execute daily work assignments as provided by management in accordance with Hyundai Transys Seating Systems of Savannah, adhering to safety/environmental standards. Responsibilities include addressing safety and environmental concerns promptly, implementing proactive safety measures, and managing communication with management and employees. Time management and communication skills are critical.

Perform all work assignments in accordance with Hyundai Transys Seating Systems of Savannah safety and environmental polices, standards, and procedures.

Collaborates with teams to ensure safety concerns are completed in a timely fashion.

Proficiently understand and implement company, state and federal safety and environmental standards.

Coordinate mandatory safety training for employees.
-
Use company document management software to record mandatory safety and environmental documents.

Maintain OSHA safety logs.

Plan proactively with management and respond quickly to concerns.

Utilize ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 (SAP preferred).

Work well in a team and individual setting .

Perform other duties assigned.
2.0 OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Learn various duties associated with Environmental Health and Safety Specialist position.

Adhere to Hyundai Transys Seating Systems of Savannah Safety and Environmental polices and standards

Participate in proactive continuous improvement initiatives to improve the employee experience.

Communicate effectively with coworkers and management.

Uphold honesty, integrity, and high levels of organization and housekeeping

Reports to the EHS Assistant Manager.
3.0 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EDUCATION

Education and/or Experience: 4 year degree in Occupational Safety Industrial or at least 6 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience related to EHS.

Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write in depth correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to company leadership and other employees of the organization.

Computer: Ability to use computer programs including MS suite and SAP.

Progression: Ability to show progress towards attaining basic skills in the fore mentioned para 2.0 Duties and Responsibilities.
