Position Summary
This is an ONSITE position located in Washington, D.C.
NCC is seeking a high skilled and experienced Senior Video Producer to oversee the end-to-end production of multimedia projects. This role is crucial for ensuring strong storytelling narratives and successful implementation. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional people skills to interview individuals about sensitive topics and showcase varying perspectives of the Office of Justice Programs (OJP) work. The Senior Producer will manage all aspects of the production process, from concept to delivery, ensuring the highest quality and adherence to project timelines and budgets. This position demands strong leadership, creative vision, and exceptional organization and communication skills.
Key Areas of Responsibility

Oversee Multimedia Production: Lead and coordinate all aspects of the multimedia pre-production, production, and post-production processes, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality outputs.

Storytelling and Implementation: Develop and implement compelling storytelling narratives that effectively communicate OJP’s mission and work.

Interviewing and People Skills: Conduct interviews with individuals on sensitive topics, capturing diverse perspectives related to OJP’s work.

Project Management: Manage all phases of the production process, from initial concept development to final delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Collaboration: Work closely with clients, strategists, writers, and other creative specialists to develop creative concepts and project briefs aligned with the Office of Communications (OCOM) vision and objectives.

Budget and Resource Management: Develop project budgets and schedules, allocate resources effectively, and monitor expenditures to ensure cost efficiency.

Quality Assurance: Ensure all productions meet the highest quality standards and adhere to project timelines and budgets.

Creative Vision: Provide strong creative direction and problem-solving abilities, ensuring a keen eye for detail in all projects.

Videography and Photography Support: Offer videography and photography assistance when needed to enhance the multimedia production process.

Travel Requirements: Travel as authorized and approved by the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR). Travel may be on short notice, ranging from one day to one week, with varying frequency. Periodic onsite presence at OJP for meetings may also be required.
Minimum Requirements

Bachelors Degree in film, video production or related field OR minimum 5 years experience in film and video production in lieu of a bachelors degree.

Proven experience as a producer in the multimedia and video production industries, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.

Expertise in project management tools and software, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

Strong creative vision and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.

Up-to-date knowledge of current trends and technologies in multimedia production.
Special Position Requirements
