The Order Puller Lead ensures the goals of the department and facility are completed in a safe and efficient manner, by coaching the Order Pullers to safely operate all AFW equipment, and ensure that orders are efficiently and safely being processed for our customers and departments. The Order Puller Lead will also monitor production, merchandise storage bins, and equipment to ensure everything is up to AFW standards and make corrections as needed. The Order Puller Lead will also coordinate and work effectively with multiple departments to continuously improve processes, maximize efficiency and exceed customer service expectations.
Pay: Starting at $20/HR, DOE
Schedule: Sunday & Monday- 5am-1:30pm
Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 1:30 pm -10pm
Friday and Saturday off
Must be Flexible with schedule to cover vacations and other events.
$1/Hr Afternoon Premium and $2/Hr Weekend Premium added on to your base pay rate.
Job Requirements
- Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies including but not limited to Storis, iPad, Excel, Word, etc.
- Efficiently use the AWM Scheduler to assign Order Pullers to complete department and facility goals.
- Have a flexible schedule and work all shifts, holidays, and weekends.
- Knowledge of personal protective equipment (PPE) and the ability to safely use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions accurately.

- Identifying and reading reports, tickets and UPC labels.
- Operate material handling equipment to move product within the warehouse and load Order Pullers with merchandise.
- Able to operate a radio frequency (RF) scanner.
- Able to correctly use a hand truck.
- Ability to efficiently work independent of direct supervision.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Work as a team member by interacting and communicating with fellow associates in a cooperative, constructive manner.

Physical Requirements:
- Requires the ability to maneuver in confined and at times congested areas.
- Requires the ability to stand, walk, stoop, & bend for 8 hours or more daily.
- Requires constant use of arms, hands, fingers, eyes, legs, and back.
- Requires lift, lower, push and pull all sizes of merchandise up to 100 lbs.
- The Order Puller Lead position requires lifting, gripping, bending, kneeling, stooping and moving merchandise 8 hours or more daily.
