Join our client's dynamic team as a Benefits Specialist and play a crucial role in managing and reconciling employee benefits. This role is integral in ensuring smooth payroll and benefits operations, with a focus on meticulous reconciliation and exceptional customer service.

Compensation: $19 to $21/hr.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing client benefits including eligibility, enrollments, and terminations
- Reconciling monthly benefit invoices and researching discrepancies
- Generating open enrollment notices and managing 401k submissions
- Answering employee questions about benefit deductions
- Auditing benefits for terminated employees for final deductions
- Collaborating with Payroll and Accounting on benefit-related issues
- Providing high-quality customer service to clients and employees
- Assisting in special projects and maintaining knowledge of all benefits software and PEO services
What You’ll Need to be Considered:
- Be able to do the job as described
- Experience with employee benefits administration
- Experience with invoice and/or benefit reconciliations preferred
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Detail-oriented and able to handle highly confidential information
- High School diploma required
