Job Summary:
Mehr & Associates is a thriving Plaintiff/Applicant law firm, ideally-located in Irvine, seeking a dedicated and compassionate Case Manager (either personal injury or workers' compensation) to join our team. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Duties:
- Answer calls and speak with clients and medical providers
- Interaction with and assisting clients (in both English & Spanish) with treatment, benefits, case status and updates
- Successful at working both independently and with a team
- Assist tasks assigned by management and attorneys
- Draft correspondence on client files
- Prepare files for attorney/client meetings, depositions & conferences at WCAB.
- Contact opposing counsel or insurance adjuster in regards to benefits, treatment authorization, mileage, settlement, etc.
- Review Trial Exhibits
Qualifications:
- BILINGUAL in English and Spanish
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Compassion and care for injured clients with a passion to help
- Ability to handle heavy phones and remain focused in a sometimes stressful environment
- 1+ year of experience in PI or WC with strong customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Diligence to follow-up on case tasks as needed and directed by the attorney
- Professional attitude and appearance
