POSITION SUMMARY:
The System Analyst is the primary end user contact and gathers all data as well as questions and issues that arise during the implementation process from the initial design through deployment. Responsible for identifying and documenting risks around workflows, system design and implementation. Works on all phases of clinical applications systems implementations, including in-depth analyses of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical tasks associated with the deployment of vendor-developed software. Prepares detailed specifications from which clinical information systems will be designed and implemented. Builds, tests, documents and maintains those programs.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participates in projects in all aspects of information systems implementation (planning, build, test, train, implement, production support).
- Setting standards for naming and numbering conventions and security classifications.
- Understanding choices in application specifications and prepares details of specifications as needed.
- Investigating the preferred choices of the users.
- Developing and documenting internal procedures.
- Collaborate with management and vendor to create and execute implementation plans.
- Ability to redefine processes and care delivery to accommodate software system in the clinical areas
- Ability to assist hospital staff in definition and documentation of functional requirements including existing and future state workflows
- Ability to assist clinical staff in articulating and documenting processes and issues.
- Assist to identify and resolve system issues which have an enterprise-wide impact on the project
- Become knowledgeable in the organizational processes, policies, procedures and business operations as they relate to the project.
- Inform management when tasks are not able to be completed in the designated time frame and be instrumental in developing the resolution strategy to maintain the project plan.
- Actively participate in live and post-live support. This will include training, issues management, follow-up communication, application changes, etc. Must be available to work a variety of shifts during Go Lives, Upgrades and Service Updates.
- Participates in project meetings, team meetings and stakeholder meetings.
- Ability to facilitate accurate communication between all involved parties.
- Ability to configure systems to support operational needs
- Guarantees efficient and effective completion of project assignments in accordance with standard procedures
- Assists facilities in meeting dynamic regulatory requirements.
- Ability to break down complex problems into manageable tasks
- Works independently, across functional areas and hierarchical levels
- Master both Vendor application and CH specific workflows
POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree (ex. Computer, Business) consistent with the assigned application.
- Master’s Degree in Healthcare or Informatics preferred.
- Epic certification in OpTime and/or Anesthesia required.
- Must have experience in EHR design, build, and test.
- Epic experience as a trainer, superuser, etc preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills required for day-to-day interaction with entity clinical department management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet goals of timeliness and quality
- Knowledgeable about CH policies, procedures, and business operations.
- Familiar with Microsoft office, Online communication tools (Zoom, Teams and Slack) Click Up, UKG/Kronos.
- Demonstrated ability to manage to deadlines, changing priorities
- Basic project management skills (ability to lead meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts, maintain issues list, manage project plan).
- Strong communication and follow-up skills.
- Detail oriented and ability to probe for information in order to fully understand the underlying needs that drive how the system should be built.
- Strong problem-solving abilities; excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Independent and self-motivated, energetic with strong desire to learn

Pay: $120,000.00 - $127,000.00 per year
