About the Position:
As a Direct Service Advocate II, you will:
- Work in shelter, assisting with screening, intake, assessment, crisis intervention, and safety planning for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking (DV/SA/ST).
- Assist with the daily operations of shelter to maintain a clean, supportive, and safe environment for program participants.
- Coordinate community resources and performs duties in coordination with a Case Manager.
Qualifications:
We value relevant qualifications and experience, but we also appreciate dedication, a passion for our mission, and a commitment to making a difference. Our Minimum Qualifications are:
- Associates degree from an accredited institution or two (2) years of experience working in social services and/or with at-risk individuals.
- Must possess a valid State of Alaska Driver’s License.
