Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Loan Officer to join our dynamic team. The Senior Loan Officer will be responsible for evaluating, authorizing, or recommending approval of loan applications for individuals and businesses. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of lending products, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loan Origination:
- Conduct thorough interviews with loan applicants to gather required financial information.
- Assess clients' creditworthiness by evaluating financial documents, credit reports, and other relevant information.
- Recommend loan approval or denial based on thorough analysis and company lending policies.
- Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional service to clients by offering tailored financial advice and solutions.
- Guide clients through the loan application process, ensuring they understand all terms and conditions.
- Address and resolve any customer inquiries or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Documentation and Compliance:
- Prepare and review all necessary loan documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure all loan applications comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of loan applications, approvals, and rejections.
- Sales and Marketing:
- Promote loan products and services to potential and existing customers through various marketing strategies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with real estate agents, builders, and other referral sources.
- Achieve individual and team sales targets by cross-selling other banking products and services.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of loan processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Licensing Requirements: NMLS State License (MO)
- Experience: $5-8 million in sales volume
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
