SHR Talent is partnering with a healthcare organization in their search for a dynamic and creative Brand Communications Specialist. The ideal candidate for the Brand Communications Specialist role will be a creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative and compelling content and will have a passion for branding and storytelling with a genuine interest in driving brand growth and engagement, a keen understanding of brand positioning preferably in a healthcare environment, exceptional communication skills with a strong attention to detail, strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, and a demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
This Brand Communications Specialist role is fully on-site based in Nashville, TN and is a 1099 contract opportunity with an expected duration of 6 or more months.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies to build brand awareness and promote brand values
- Create engaging content across various platforms including digital, social media, print, and multimedia channels
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment across all communication touchpoints
- Manage the company's online presence through social media channels, blogs, and other digital platforms, ensuring timely and relevant content updates
- Monitor and analyze brand performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
- Cultivate relationships with media outlets, influencers, and industry partners to maximize brand exposure and opportunities for collaboration
- Lead the development and implementation of public relation campaigns, press releases, and media outreach efforts
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities for brand promotion
- Act as a brand ambassador, representing the company at events, conferences, and networking opportunities
- Conduct market research and audience analysis to identify target demographics and tailor communication strategies accordingly
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field
- Proven experience in brand communications, marketing, or public relations roles
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management tools, content management systems, and analytics software
- Previous experience in managing media relations and public relation campaigns, preferred
- Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) principles and best practices, a plus
