CT Technologist Opportunity

We are in search of a compassionate and skilled CT Technologist to join our client's dynamic imaging team. The chosen candidate will not just be a part of our team, but a crucial player in our mission to provide the highest quality of patient care. Your role will involve performing computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures and ensuring safety standards are met, significantly impacting the patients health and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT imaging procedures as prescribed by physicians.
- Prepare patients for CT examinations, explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort.
- Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Maintain patient records and document procedures accurately.
- Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and protocols.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and evaluate CT scans.
- Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of CT equipment.
- Stay updated with advancements in CT technology and techniques.
Qualifications:
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography and CT.
- TMB State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Minimum of one year of experience as a CT Technologist.
- Proficiency in operating CT imaging equipment and related technology.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to patient care and safety.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology
- Experience with EPIC
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
